  • E3: Heating Fault. The booster or wash tank isn’t hitting temp. Fix: Check the high-limit reset button (usually near the heater) or look for lime scale on the element.

  • E5: Water Level Low. Water dropped during a cycle. Fix: Ensure the standpipe/drain stopper is seated correctly and not leaking water out.

  • Close Gauge: The thickness knob must be set to “0” before the slicer will allow you to start it or remove the blade.

  3. Reset: Pressing and holding the “Off” or “Drain” button for 5 seconds often clears non-critical service warnings.

Our washing machine failed to drain water or spin when we were washing a load of clothes on Sunday afternoon. I contacted Solution Appliance repair via their website and I received a return call within 15 minutes. We were able to schedule a repair appointment for the next day. Frank A, the repair specialist who is specifically trained to fix LG appliances arrived at the designated time. He immediately ran a series of diagnostics and was able to narrow the problem down to a motor sensor which needed to be replaced. He had the correct part in his vehicle and he was able to replace it very quickly and at a reasonable cost. He was extremely professional and kept us informed throughout the entire repair process.
